The aroma of newly opened wine accompanied with dazzling hors d’oeurves prepared right before you eyes makes for an unforgettable experience! Join us for a special Wine Tasting & Cooking Class with French-native Chef Eddy Rocq.
Chef Rocq can often be seen offering cooking classes at Williams-Sonoma in both the South Coast Plaza and Mission Viejo Mall locations. Please note that these classes are usually $60 and do not include wine!

You’ll then have the pleasure of watching (and some of you will have the opportunity to participate with) Chef Rocq prepare the menu:
Philo purses wih mushroom puree
Mixed green with balsamic vinaigrette
Braised short ribs in red wine creamy polenta
Fresh Fruits Sabayon
After each item is prepared, participants will receive a sample of the dish along with a glass of wine specifically paired to go with it.

About Chef Eddy Rocq…..
Born In Paris, France 1979, Eddy Rocq Began Culinary School At The Young Age Of 14, At The Bobigny Private School Near Paris. After One Year, Eddy Transferred To Mederic Culinary School Of Paris. It Was There That He Obtained Various Degrees In Culinary Certification As Chef, As Well As Pastry Chef. Eddy’s Proven Talent In Pastries Won Him First Place In A French Pastry Contest, “Seduce”. During His Five Year Training, Eddy Traveled Through Different Regions Of France Learning Varied Techniques And Flavors Of Gourmet Cuisine In Restaurants Such As France Le Relais Saint Michel In Normandie, Les Fermes De Marie In The Alpes, L’Hotel De La Mer In Brittany, Hotel De Crillon And Meridien Place De La Concorde In Paris.
Eddy Is A Recognized Member Of The World Renowned International Toque Blanche Association. This Association Led Him To Travel To Various Countries Around The World, Including The United States. Eddy Has Worked As A Private Chef On Yachts In Florida And California. Currently, He Is A Partner At Savoie’s Fare Catering In Laguna Niguel Working With Jacques Savoie, Pastry Chef. Eddy Caters All Special Occasions And Also Enjoys Sharing His Culinary Talent Teaching Classes In Private Homes And Public Venues. Eddy’s Diversified Talent As Chef And Pastry Chef Make Him Highly Valued And Marketable In Culinary Arts.
