Described as “red – hot, blues rock,” the Laurie Morvan Band bridges the gap between the two styles following in the footsteps of blues/rock innovators Bonnie Raitt and Stevie Ray Vaughan. The tall, blue-eyed blonde lead guitarist/vocalist recently gained national attention in the Oct. 2007 issues of both Guitar Player Magazine and Vintage Guitar Magazines and won the regional competition of the 2008 International Blues Challenge and heads into the semi-finals next month in Memphis, TN.!
